Polka dot agate cab suite ~
Offered here is a primo matching set of three cabochons cut from Priday polka dot agate, which hails from Oregon. This grand old material is a real treat to work with, when you can find and afford it, and never fails to cut extraordinary stones. These fine examples have clusters of red orbs, and each has one yellow dot. Oddly enough, the darker centers in the red orbs are sub metallic, having a somewhat silvery sheen. Please note, I did my best, but I think the reds are actually a bit darker and less orange than the photos illustrate; the stones are GORGEOUS nonetheless! Each cab is 4mm in thickness, and the large one is cut in a designer 'flame' shape that contains the pattern nicely. The smaller pair are round, but are an excellent match. All three have a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
