Tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of variegated tigereye, cut by Rain from natural old stock African material. This stone has an intriguing optical display in its rows of silky chatoyance. It's a mixture of deep red and dark blues at one side, with gold and blue at center, and a bit of greenish yellow at the other side. The primary colors blend in most of the stone, in a beautiful effect that shimmers directionally. It has a low rounded dome of 4.5mm, a gracefully sleek designer shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
