Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. This classic porcelain jasper is a great favorite of collectors, becoming more valuable and more scarce almost by the day. This fine example has earthy tans contrasting with chocolatey reddish browns in a rather scenic hilly pattern that includes a 'sky' of gray. Nice scattering of dendrites too. It's going to look fabulous in even the simplest of settings! The cab has a nicely rounded dome just shy of 5mm, a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
