Chrysocolla cab ~
Offered here is a lovely cabochon of chrysocolla and malachite in agate, from Arizona. Rain especially likes this fabulous old material because it is a delight to work with, hard and durable, and more sought after than ever. It features vivid turquoise blue to blue-greens, in a background of clear and snowy agate. In some areas, the delicious sky blue has bled into the translucence, giving this one a most appealingly gemmy character. The stone has a rounded dome of 54mm, a curvy designershape, and a fine glassy polish front and back.
