Pietersite cab suite ~
Offered here is a matching set of three cabochons of African pietersite. These stones are rather dark, but show beautiful silky ribbons in a blend of golden yellow and deep midnight to silvery blue chatoyance. The large stone also has accents of reddish orange, adding an extra splash of color for the eye; please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size for better views. It has a high rounded dome of 6mm, while the smaller pair are 5.5mm in thickness. Each has a fine glassy polish both front and back. Per carat, my price for this trio of stones is a steal!
