Graveyard plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of the classic favorite Graveyard plume agate, grand old stock from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This eye catching example has some remarkably ornate plumes that stand out nicely against a background of carnelian orange agate. The dark strand is actually marcasite; in hand, it appears as glittery metallic flecks that sparkle. This stone has a rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer 'pentagon' shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
