Graveyard plume agate cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of Graveyard Point plume agate, from eastern Oregon. This example has a curving 'arm' of soft, velvety plumes that remind me of a feathered wing, heavily shadowed with glittery metallic marcasite. It contrasts nicely in a background of translucent golden butterscotch agate with smaller swirls of creams. This fine plume agate will be a joy to work with, no matter how simple or ornate the setting! The cab has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a curvy designer 'flame' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
