Royal Sahara jasper cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of the new Royal Sahara jasper, recently found in the North African Sahara desert. This amazing porcelain material has a very exotic pattern, weirdly scenic in away, if one can imagine looking out from the opening of a cave. There are ribbons of rich earthy tones, a core of ochre showing a single orb, and unusual olive green overtones surrounding it in ribbony waves. Design something unique around this one and you'll see, this stuff is magical. This stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a designer 'keystone' shape that's smoothly polished both front and back.
