Larimar cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of larimar, a rare blue variety of gemmy pectolite from the only known source in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. I should've gotten a LOT more rough when I had the chance, because the price has certainly climbed steadily through the years. This example has absolutely gorgeous sky blue coloration, very gemmy, with some darker and more saturated spots, and a bit of chatoyance here and there. This largish cab has a generously high rounded dome of 8mm, a versatile teardrop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
