Turquoise cab set ~
Offered here is a splendid matching set of three cabochons, cut from spiderweb Chinese turquoise. These stones have a rather different coloration, very exciting, in turquoise blue shading to bright spring green, to (almost) olive green. The jet black matrix forming the webs really sets off the color, by contrast. No doubt the material has been stabilized by some hardening process, as is most modern turquoise, but it has NOT been subjected to artificial coloring of any kind. This material polished like a dream, and will wear wonderfully, without changing over the years. The largest cab has a low but nicely rounded dome of 5mm, and the smaller pair are 2.5-3mm in thickness. Each of the three stones has a designer teardrop shape, and a slick glossy polish both front and back. (I have three more smallish slices of this same material, and can cut other matching stones to order, if desired.)
