Mexican lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. This newly mined material turned up at this year's Tucson gem show, and let me tell you, it is every bit as fabulous as the grand old material. The remarkable example shown here certainly has REDS galore, shaded with white fortification bands scalloped to contain several pinkish bullseyes and a white core. Some areas are delightfully ornate and intriguing, giving this unique stone character to spare. No doubt you'll be well pleased with this one! It has a very high rounded dome of 8mm, a crisp designer shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
