Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a colorfully gorgeous cabochon of regency rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This collectible stone was cut from some old stock I've had stashed away for years, and I must say it's MUCH rosier than anything I've seen mined more recently. I love this old stuff! This beauty is all but bursting with ornate plumage in bright coral pinks, yellow, apricot, cream and white, some of which have fancy lacy edging. There's a sparkly drusy pocket too, adding character. The background is nicely translucent, though the photo is not one of my best, sorry about that. This cab has a low but nicely rounded dome of 4+mm, a crisp rectangular shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
