Offered here is an outrageous cabochon of top shelf pietersite, from Africa. This graceful teardrop cab features a harlequin pattern of bright golden yellow with light to dark blue chatoyance that shimmers to life in most any light source. The silkiness rolls and changes beautifully as the stone is turned. A background of burnt reddish orange adds even more color and contrast to the appealing palette of this stone; please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size to see the fine details. It has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 5mm, and a super slick glassy polish both front and back.
