Turquoise cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of spiderweb turquoise, from China. It features absolutely thrilling minty green coloration, with blackish matrix forming the spiderwebbing. No doubt the material has been stabilized by some proprietary process, as is most modern turquoise, but I don't believe it has been subjected to artificial coloring of any kind. It polished like a dream, and will wear wonderfully, without changing over the years. The cab has a low but well rounded dome of 5+mm, and a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
