Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is an intriguing cabochon of Regency Rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. I've had a good sized pile of old stock rough put aside for quite a few years, but only one chunk that has these unusual mossy plumes. They're the same classic colors, rosy red, apricot, gold and cream, but with crinkly moss frills mixed in with the fluffy plumes. The agate surrounding them is quite translucent, adding a dimension of depth that's most appealing. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6+, a crisp designer shape, and a sweet glassy polish both front and back.
