Rainbow Ridge plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of Rainbow Ridge plume agate, from Idaho. This material is actually dug at Graveyard Point, but it is quite different and distinctly unusual from the oft seen classic stuff. The pictures will tell you more than I can write, so please be sure to click to enlarge them to full size, and view the gorgeous details. What isn't apparent in the photos is the lines of silvery marcasite, including some fine glittery dots, and the botryoidal angel wing formations in the center, which look like tiny stalagmites. The cab has a low but well rounded dome of 5mm, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
