Laguna agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Laguna agate, from Mexico. It was cut from a beautifully gemmy old stock nodule that was once part of a collecor's horde, showing delightful banding in warm burnt orange to yellow-orange coloration. It has some fascinating plumes down one side, great banding, and a small grouping of orbs and bullseyes as well. If you've been visiting this site for any length of time, you know I'm especially fond of any material with orbs! I think this stone will be pleasing even if set in the very simplest of settings. It has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a gracefully curvy 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
