Offered here is a splendidly colorful cabochon of Sonora Sunrise, from Mexico, the third in this week's new additions. This outrageous new chrysocolla/ cuprite material has striking colors, all 100% natural. The rough rock costs quite a bit, but the eye catching colors are worth every penny. This fancy example is especially attractive and well marked, with the usual blue/green with bright red to crimson combination, plus it has a sub-metallic purplish splotches, maroon webbing, and patches of green attractively edged in black. If you want eye catching stones, Sonora Sunrise is the inspiration you're looking for! The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer shape, and an excellent glossy polish both front and back.
