Royal Sahara jasper cab ~
Offered here is a truly remarkable cabochon of the new Royal Sahara jasper, a nodular jasper found in the North African Sahara desert by George Sechler. This stone shows the ringed pattern sometimes found in RSJ that resembles a stack of coins, one atop the other, in earthy colors that run the gamut from light sand to russet, to rich chocolate browns. A row of inky black dendrites are reminiscent of vegetation on the beach, and the sky overhead has a wormhole to someplace else! This stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a designer 'paisley' shape you'll have fun with, brightly polished both front and back.
Size: 46x31mm
Weight: approximately 53 carats
