Offered here is a collectible cabochon of gorgeous rhodochrosite, from Catamarca, Argentina, cut from the famed Ortiz 'Red Ruby' material prized from the highest level of the mine. This gemmy gel-like cab features glowingly intense reddish-pink coloration that's to die for gorgeous. It has the typical crystalline veil inclusions within, a delightful degree of warm translucence, and a bit of sparkle when viewed at certain side angles. Delicious! The cab has a low rounded dome of 4mm, and a sleek designer shape, polished both front and back.
