Offered here is a cabochon of Sonora Sunrise, from Mexico. This material has positively striking colors, all 100% natural. Rough rock of any merit can be costly, but the inspiring cabs it yields definitely make it worthwhile in my book. This example is a bluish-green turquoise hue with patches of bright crimson red and black, and dabs of green at the wide end. In hand, some areas exhibit a metallic sheen.
