Crazy lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. This fancy stone was cut from newer material, hand selected at this year's Tucson show, and it's every bit as nice as the grand old stuff. It has dramatic fortification banding, several bullseyes and tubes, and its colors are an attractive mix of reddish orange, wine, pastel pink and blue, with white. It was interesting to find that the darkest areas have a sub-metallic sheen. No doubt you'll be well pleased with this one! This cab has a low but nicely rounded dome of 4.5mm, an ovoid shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
