Paiute agate cab ~
Offered here is a rather scenic cabochon of Paiute agate, cut from old stock material sent to me by a friend in Southern Oregon. This well marked example features a bunch of the classic black dendrites swirled into a background of burnt orange, including lighter colored agate with a pale bluish purplish tint and some odd cloudy dots. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer shape, with a slick, glassy polish both front and back.
