Offered here is a super dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. A long time favorite, this classic agate is renowned for its amazing figure, and this one nicely demonstrates why. It has a big bold pattern of contrasting bands, including an outstanding fortification bandings surrounding a polygonal core. The stone is wonderfully translucent, especially the wide root beer brown bands and light blue-gray agate. It's a keeper, for sure, one that will certainly 'speak' well in your jewelry creations. It has a well rounded dome of 7mm, a gracefully curved designer 'leaf' shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
