Offered here is a colorful cabochon of top notch African pietersite, cut from some of the very best I have onhand. This example is a real keeper, with an enchanting palette of golden yellow, orange and light and dark blue chatoyance in a silky, swirling, folded pattern that dances with the light. Accents of red add even more color to the appealing palette and pattern of this stone; please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size to see the amazing details. It has a low rounded dome of 4.5mm, and a fine glassy polish both front and back. Considering how the cost of fine pietersite has sky-rocketed in recent years, IF you can even find any that compare, my per carat price for a stone of this size and quality is a steal!
