Paul Bunyan plume agate cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of rare Paul Bunyan plume (or flame) agate, which hails from a long depleted area near Barstow, California. This example has intricate tongues of plume contrasting wonderfully well against a background of blue gray agate. The figure is amazing in this cab, loaded with red finger-like plumes that could be considered to be tubes seen on edge. Dream up something special to show this one off! The stone has a well rounded dome of 4mm, and a glassy polish front and back.
