Carnelian agate cab ~
Offered here is a big, beautiful cabochon of carnelian, also known as orange chalcedony, from the famous Polly Drummond agate beds in Oregon. It features bright yellow-orange agate, very strongly saturated with color. Within the translucent body of the stone is a remarkable pattern of the classic 'cornflake' inclusions so sought after by collectors, as well as some interesting clouds and dots. The stone has a graceful curved designer shape with a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
