Marra Mamba tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of rare Marra Mamba tigereye, from Australia. This material is, without a doubt, the most awesome and brilliant tigereye there is anywhere in the world. This example has gorgeous, dancing blue and yellow-gold chatoyance, with just a tiny teaser of green where they meet. It really lights up beautifully when the light catches it. The jasper is also surprisingly colorful, in reddish orange, green, a hint of gold, and a splash of bright red dots, that shares the rest of the cab with ribbons and flecks of shiny metallic hematite. The stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'flame' shape, finished to a slick glassy polish both front and back.
