Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of Montana agate, cut from rough we 'found' at a Montana rockshop in spring of this year. heh This classic beauty has a artfully composed scattering of the classic inky black dendrites in various shapes and sizes, including some flowers, and several rows that appear to be arranged in bands, floating within the stone. The background agate is translucent, nearly water clear, with an appealing (almost) opalescent blue quality to it. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp, yet graceful, designer shape, and a brilliantly glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
