Botswana agate cab ~
Offered here is a totally WILD cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. As a youngster, I horded hundreds of outstanding Botswana agate nodules, and every one was unique in some way; sure wish I had them all now! This stone has an outrageously bold and contrasting pattern, with chevron bands of snow white. The darker bands shade from brown to lavender-gray, to mauve, and finally to beautifully blushing pinks, in both bright and pastel tones. This dramatic beauty is sure to turn heads wherever it goes, in even the simplest of settings. It has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a powerfully crisp designer shape that contains and enhances the pattern well, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
