Agua Neuva agate cab ~
Offered here is a superb cabochon of Agua Neuva agate, from Mexico. I often find that like this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This uniquely exotic example features a wild pattern of pink banded agate framing a pool of translucent blue agate with a drusy core. Adding even more character is a display of several well formed bullseye tubes in burnt orange and smoky brown agate, some of which are edged with a lovely pastel lemon colored agate. And everything is beautifully defined and enhanced by a dark band that winds through the stone. Believe me when I say, this collectible beauty is absolutely GORGEOUS, and even moreso in hand! The cab has a well rounded dome of 5+mm, a gracefully curved designer 'flame' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
