Chrysocolla cab ~
Offered here is a vivid cabochon of chrysocolla and malachite, from the African Congo. This fabulous old bullseye material is 100 percent natural, a delight to work with, and it is sought after by collectors worldwide. It features brilliant light and dark blue chrysocolla against subtly banded malachite in varying shades of green. I have to say this stone is MUCH prettier than these photos illustrate, and I fully expect that whomever buys it will immediately be struck by the intense cerulean and sky blue colors. The stone has a generously high rounded dome of 8mm, a versatile designer shape, and despite a very slight bit of waviness on the surface, it took a great glossy polish front and back.
