Brazilian agate cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of top shelf banded Brazillian agate, from Brazil. This large and striking example shows beautifully contrasting bands of black and snow white bands blending into a multitude of shades in between, with some browns at the edges. This gemmy beauty is surprisingly translucent: When backlit, the monotones are magically transformed into warm golden brown and amber hues. It has a low rounded dome of 4mm, a bold designer shield shape, and a brilliant glassy polish both front and back.
