Agua Neuva agate cab ~
Offered here is a busy little cabochon of Agua Neuva agate, from Mexico. I often find that like this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features is composed of lavender agate with lovely fortification banding, framing frilly white moss and pools of translucent agate. Simply GORGEOUS! The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6+mm, a crisp designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back. For accuracy's sake, I think the hard-to-capture color leans a bit more toward purple than these photos show.
