Laguna agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Laguna agate, from Mexico. It was cut from an oddly atypical old stock nodule, showing deliciously warm orange and yellow-orange coloration. It has some very fine, delicate bands that are both lacy and crystalline framing its orange circles. If you've been visiting this site for any length of time, you know I'm fond of any material with orbs! I think this stone will be pleasing even if set in the very simplest of settings. It has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curvy shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
