Willow creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Willow Creek jasper, from Idaho. This outstanding porcelain-like material, dubbed the queen of jaspers, happens to be one of Rain's favorites. This pretty pink example one was cut from rough purchased directly from the miner; I wanted color, and that's exactly what I found when I slabbed it!! This stone has some lovely streamer patterns and subtle orbing in various pastels of peachy pinks, as well as some areas of translucence. The cab has a low rounded dome of 4.5mm, a crisp designer 'spearhead' shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
