Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of Australian chrysoprase from the classic old Marlboro digs, Australia. This is a gemmy chalcedony colored by the presence of nickel in beautiful minty green that positively GLOWS. This particular example is wonderfully translucent, with a few faint clouds and threads of a paler green adding much to the visual interest. This sleek, well formed beauty has a high rounded dome of 6mm, and despite a couple voids visible only on the flat backside, it has a super glassy polish both front and back.
