Offered here is a dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, cut from old stock African material. Getting hard to come by lately, and commands a premium price when you can find the best stuff. This example will absolutely bowl you over with its outstanding pattern of fortification banding. The color is difficult to put one's finger on, but I'd call it a blend of pinkish gray/brown and snow white, with terrific contrast. It's truly a remarkable beauty you won't want to part with! One that will certainly 'speak' well in your jewelry creations, whatever your plans for it, in even the simplest of settings. It has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a versatile designer shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
