Morgan Hill poppy jasper cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of poppy jasper, from the famous Morgan Hill, CA. location, no longer open to collecting. This little beauty has a bold pattern of orbs in bright yellow, edged with reddish orange, against a background of deepest burgundy. It has a fine network of web-like veins, all of which are quite well healed and naturally filled with quartz or jasper; there are NONE of the open fractures so common to this collectible material. The cab has a rounded dome of 5mm, a bold designer 'chevron' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
