poppy jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of a very unusual new poppy jasper, from Indonesia. As you can see, it has a striking pattern a lot like some ocean jaspers, very upbeat and vibrant to say the least, with pleasantly contrasting colors. There's reddish orange, tiny lime green bullseyes with avocado dots, and strange patches of jet black. It's certainly eye catching, and will look fantastic in even the plainest of settings. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, a designer 'pillow' shape, despite one or two pinpoint voids that are easily overlooked, it has a slick glassy polish both front and back.
