Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This unique cab seems to be all agate, stem to stern, illustrated somewhat by the backlit photo. It's all translucent gel in beautiful aqua greens with rings of teal. At the stone's tip is a bit of bright reddish orange that zests things up a bit. A lone orb toward the bottom has a shallow depression ring around it, which is odd but not a bit distracting. Decidedly different from most. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, a graceful designer shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
