Botswana agate cab ~
Offered here is a small but mighty little cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. As a boy, I had a collection of hundreds of outstanding Botswana agate nodules; sure wish I had them all now! This stone has a dramatic pattern of white bandings in a totally WILD design, against root beer to smoky black agate. Nice parallax, and great contrast too, a real keeper! One that will certainly 'speak' well in your jewelry creations, whatever your plans for it, in even the simplest of settings. It has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a long slender teardrop shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
