Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of Australian Offered here is a cabochon of Australian chrysoprase from a newly discovered find near Yerilla, Australia. Like the old Marlboro material, it's a valuable chalcedony colored a beautiful icy green pastel by the presence of nickel. This particular example is only somewhat translucent, with faint threads of a deeper green adding to the visual interest. The stone has a high rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a designer 'bullet' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
