Amethyst Sage Agate ~
Offered here is a cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. This material is a great favorite around here, featuring gemmy amethystine agate and dendrites that sometimes form interesting scenes. This example gives the impression of a tall tree on cloudy knoll, along with several low bushes. The 'trunk' of the tree is actually a thin line of tan agate. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'pillow' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
