Sheep Creek plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Sheep Creek plume agate, from Oregon. I cut this outstanding stone from a HUGE 14 inch slab purchased from an old gentleman's living estate. It's the very best I've ever seen, because of the fabulous display of white plumes in its blue/gray agate background. This stone is full of them, along with some splashes of yellow and a scattering of tiny black dendrites. There are NO cracks present, just pattern; the odd lines are razor fine ribbons of clear agate running through the cab. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'pillow' shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
