Botswana agate cab ~
Offered here is a dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. This example has an intricate pattern of both plain and scalloped bandings in a totally WILD design, and a pool of gorgeous rosy pink. It's a real keeper! One that will certainly 'speak' well in your jewelry creations, whatever your plans for it, in even the simplest of settings. It has a rounded dome of 5mm, a fat teardrop shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back. The only imperfection I can find is a teensy healed hairline of about 1/16 of an inch, that plays peekaboo at the edge; I doubt you'll find it at all distracting.
