Azurite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of azurite and malachite, from Northern California, believe it or not. A friend of mine personally dug it out, near Mt. Shasta, though he sure wouldn't say exactly where... This beauty is 100% natural, with spiderwebs of deep blue azurite and green malachite crisscrossing every which way. Very unusual stuff! The cab has a low rounded dome of 4mm, a designer drop shape, and despite a single teensy pit that's barely noticeable at one edge, it has a nice glossy polish both front and back.
