Imperial cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This wonderful species of porcelain jasper is always a crowd pleaser, and happily, it takes an excellent glassy shine. This classic example has a unique striped pattern in soft minty greens, along with a bit of translucence. It would be equally beautiful set in either silver or gold, no doubt. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6+mm, a gracefully fluid designer shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
