Chrysocolla cab ~
Offered here is a lovely cabochon of chrysocolla in quartz, from Arizona. This fabulous old material is a delight to work with, hard and durable, and more sought after than ever. It features vivid turquoise blue to blue-greens, in a background of clear and snowy agate. In some areas, the delicious sky blue has bled into the translucence, giving this one a most appealingly gemmy character. Nice drusy pocket accent too. The stone has a low rounded dome of 4mm, a crisp rectangular shape, and a fine glassy polish front and back.
