Malachite cab ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of beautiful malachite, from Zaire. It features the classic pattern of countless fine bandings in rich, vivid shades of light and dark greens, with plenty of nuance shades between. In addition, there's a string of fancy bullseyes along the inside curve, two of which are accented with ornate lacy edgings. This elegant example has a particularly graceful shape you'll enjoy, and I have no doubt it's sure to look splendid in either silver or gold. The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, with an excellent polish both front and back.
